BNA Recording artist, Chris Janson, hails from southern Missouri. He's been in Nashville for 4 1/2 years. He got his start at the tootsies downtown, in Nashville. Playing seven nights a week, four shows a day. It took only a year 'til he inked his first publishing deal as a staff writer at Chrysalis Music Group. Song credits include the "Mossy Oak Camoflage" theme, "it's not a passion it's an obsession"..it can be heard on Outdoor Channel, and Pursuit Channel. Soon to follow, he was on the road touring with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Jr, Sugarland, Shooter Jennings, among many others. He also participated in the 2005 feature film, Heart of Gold with Neil Young- all before he was 21 yrs old. In the late 2009, Chris inked his first record deal with Sony's BNA Records(Kenny Chesney, Kellie pickler, Craig Morgan). In early 2010, his first single and video was released, called, Til A Woman Comes Along. Ironically a woman did come along recently, as Chris is newly married as well, to TN personality Kelly Lynn. Chris is currently on and off the road playing live, getting ready for the release of his next single due out late summer, and preciously awaiting hunting season!!!

Buddy Brock has written such hits at Watermelon Crawl, Ain't Nothing Wrong With The Radio, I Want To Fall In Love and many, many more.
Hailing from Illinois, Ellerman gained an extensive fan following across the country as the lead singer of Ragged Jack. Playing mostly originals in his live shows, Ellerman’s songs, ranging from traditional country to relentless southern rock grooves, resonate with an audience as diverse as his music. Partnering with legendary writers such as Buddy Brock, Will Nance and the late George McCorkle, Ellerman has spent the last four years in Nashville honing his skill.
Something about Kevin Denney’s tender voice on “That’s Just Jessie” evoked the melancholy of Keith Whitley– which is a high compliment. And like Whitley, the Kentucky native cut his chops on bluegrass before finding success in country music. His self-titled debut album introduced a young man whose genuine passion for country music permeates every note. “I wanted to make music my heroes would be proud of,” he says, “people like George Jones and Merle Haggard and Porter Wagoner.”
Darby Ledbetter has been serving his country in the Armed Forces since he was old enough to join. He has served in the Navy, the Army and the Tennessee National Guard, and as he says about his time spent in Kuwait in 1998, “I did three tours there altogether, including Desert Fox and Desert Thunder. If there was a desert, I was in it.” Most recently, in 2004, he became a chief warrant officer and was deployed again, this time to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. During his time there, Darby formed a band (3 Rivers Band) with a few fellow soldiers and soon found himself entertaining troops on weekends, sometimes three times each day. And when The Charlie Daniels Band performed on the USO Tour, it was Darby and his band of soldiers who were chosen to share the stage with him. Though-out all the time he has spent serving his country he never stopped dreaming about a career in the music business. In 2006, half of Buck Moore’s catalog was co-written with Darby. “My experience in the service made me more receptive to life and a better songwriter,” he said. “I lost some good friends there. I translate some of that into my music. I don’t dream for myself anymore. I dream for those who gave their lives in service to this country.”

God has blessed Trent in so many ways, and continues to do so as he walks through this wonderfully crazy life with his high-school sweetheart, Whitnei, and his awesome son, Walker T. Trent and his family moved to Nashville in the summer of 2003. He is currently writin’ for Writers Den (headed by Bobby Rymer). It’s just a matter of time before his songs, which he describes as “traditional country with an edge”, are everywhere you turn.
Steve Dean has been a staff songwriter at Collins Music Publishing, Ingram Lebraun Music Publishing, and currently at Brentwood Benson Music Publishing. He has had six number one songs, including the recent smash song WATCHING YOU co-written with and recorded by Rodney Atkins. Steve has also been part of many performing groups over the years, and toured Europe as part of the duo JamesDean. He has recently started using his studio talent in producing several new artists, continues to write songs, and loves performing live. Steve says, “Being a singer/songwriter is the best of both worlds … I can take my music to the people in its purest form.”
Paul Sikes is preparing to sign his first publishing deal with Giantslayer Publishing which is owned by renowned writers Rory Feek and Tim Johnson. This company is excited to bring him on board as a staff songwriter and believes that he has enormous potential in the country music industry. Paul is currently busy recording much of his new material in his home studio in Green Hills. This collection of recordings he refers to as Pointe Sessions allows him to share his songs with his fans and portray his music as he envisions it. He is also the lead acoustic and electric guitarist for the Lisa Kolarich Band, a talented contemporary country-rock act. Paul has made great strides as his name is becoming familiar to more and more publishers, producers, and writers in town. As he continues to broaden his network and write with established writers, Paul is becoming successful and well-known as a songwriter in the community and beyond.

If you listened to crossover radio in the mid to late seventies, you probably heard Jim Parker. We called him Jimmy back then when he was working the college and club circuits, singing commercials, opening concerts for folks like Ray Charles, Kenny Rogers, Seals & Crofts, Phoebe Snow, BJ Thomas, and recording background vocals for others.
Just as his records began to sell (She’s Got A Way, Without You, Two Together) and his career was tracking skyward, he discovered that 250 shows a year chasing an Elektra Asylum deal doesn’t do much for a new marriage. So, he made a hard right turn into the world of healthcare, pharmaceutical sales, marketing & management.
In 1999, he stumbled into some old music buddies and moved south to Leiper’s Fork, Tennessee to write, sing, and chase cuts on Music Row.
His beloved premiere 1999 CD “Buttcrack City” has sold well under a million copies, and Jim is in the process of putting together his next release “Dancin' In the Kitchen”.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 17
Canadian born, Phil O'Donnell, came to the Nashville scene several years ago and signed with legendary writers, Ed Bruce, Neal McCoy, and Chalee Tennison. At that time, he also teamed with the then newcomer, Craig Morgan. Together they penned some amazing tunes that have reached Billboard's country music charts. The Craig Morgan project became even more spectacular when the 2005 hit song, "That's What I Love About Sundays," (produced but not written by O'Donnell) became the first independent (Broken Bow Records) release to reach #1 on the Billboard Country Charts since The Kendalls 1977 hit, "Heaven's Just A Sin Away." The Craig Morgan hit was also named the Most Played Song of 2005, by both Billboard and Radio & Records.
Dan Demay is a talented singer/songwriter. "If Something Should Happen" with Darryl Worley was a great blessing in his life and career. As of now he's been fortunate enough to have a song on Martina McBride's new CD "Waking Up Laughin'" called "Everybody Does", also he has a Tracy Lawrence song on his "For The Love" CD called "You Can't Hide Red Neck" with the video being shot for his next radio summer time single.
